Cara's babies have arrived!!!!!!!
Well, I guess there are always new experiences to
make. So with this birth there was a new experience with a c-section...
This was needed because one of Cara's kittens was stuck in front of
the birth canal. Unfortunately we were not able to get this kitten
out alive. The other four are perfectly well though.
Cara had contractions in the evening. Soon I
realized though that this birth was different. Although she had the
urge to press nothing happened. So after a while I called the vet.
We x-rayed Cara and it made clear that c-section was neccessary.
After a
sleepless night for me all are well again. Cara has recovered
perfectly from this heavy birth and all four babies are crawling
around and drinking!
